Let’s Find Abundance Together

Hey there, welcome back my friends. It’s good to be in this format again. I all but gave up on blogging a while ago as life became increasingly bigger and busier.
We moved from Oregon at the end of 2020. When I say “We” I mean Spencer, My pregnant self , our 4 children, my mother, brother and my uncle all pulled up our roots in Sisters, Oregon and transplanted them to Rapid City, South Dakota.
That move was equally as exciting and new as it was heartbreaking and scary. We had no idea what we were doing, but we had to do something. We deeply desired to finally own a home and at the end of October 2020 we signed all the papers! My brother has just just retired from the military and the chance to live across town from him and his family was too much to pass up.
We don't know what the world holds for us yet. Or if South Dakota is our forever home. We're still searching for the "dream farm" that we talk about almost daily. Wherever she is, we knows she's waiting patiently for us to find her. For now we'll be continuing to grow as much of our food as we can, homeschool our kids and live life on our terms hoping one day to do this together as a full time homesteading family.
The word abundance has always held huge meaning for me. Even in times of famine more than feast, I am abundantly blessed to be living the life God has planned for me. I have an abundance of knowledge from the last 10 years of learning and growing as a mother, partner, gardener and cheerleader for those I've encouraged to jump into homesteading. I have an abundance of love and friendship I'll never be able to fully articulate. I'm truly living in the abundance of my own desires. So going forward let's find ways to recognize the abundance we have right in front of us. Thanks for being here and believing in us.
With love,
The Gardners
